Meet Rebe
This is actually the extended story of my post the other day "Are You Converge ?"
If on the previous post I told you about the adventure I had with the boys, today I'm gonna tell you the "adventure" I had with one of the girls from the team.
Meet Rebe one of the coolest, sweetest, and honest girl.
Not only she's as much fun as the boys she's also full of surprises.
She loves rollerblading and riding a scooter, she's also a bold adventurer.
We were supposed to watch the sunset at Kudeta but since Rebe just finished surfing and I was caught up at work so we missed it. It's a bit sad I know but luckily the place where she was staying is right in front of the beach.
It was her idea to take different scooter for each person. So I lead the way and she followed behind me.
The whole riding in a different scooter is one thing but to be the one who leads the way when it's normal for you to speed up in a jam-packed road is another different thing !
You see there are mass amount of scooter scatter around the road so I have to ride very slow to make sure she doesn't left behind and I have to look back every now and then to check whether she's right behind me or not.
Suddenly I can feel what parents feel when they watch their child riding their first bike.
They feel worry but happy and proud at the same time knowing their child able to ride the bike.
One extra thing I have from this experience is that I learn to be more patient and that I also practice to put others need before me.
But anyhow Rebe is a fast learner, she did so well in following me and in adjusting with the traffic and other vehicles.
I come to learn the reason why she is capable in handling the traffic situation is that because she just love riding scooter and she loves Indonesia (:
After enjoying a glass of Kudeta's signature hot chocolate and a good time with a nice chat we decided to go home.
This time I am more confident in leading the way cause I thought we've done it before and we've made it.
But things doesn't always go your way.
I took another route on our way home, my idea was for her to see a nicer street fill with beautiful shops.
Even at night there was still traffic in that area. And rather than look back I just watch her from my rear view mirror. As long as I get to see the light from her scooter, I know that we're good.
But I was wrong !
After 10-15 minutes riding I realized I lost Rebe.
So I wait for about 10 minutes in the intersection where I believe I lost her, but there was still no sign of her.
I decided to find her in two different road and then go back again to that intersection after stopping or slowing down in every shop or public place along the way hoping that I could find her all to no avail.
And to make it even worse, I hold Rebe's purse which contain her mobile, wallet, and other important things you can ever imagine.
With a little worry and almost desperate I called my sister and my friend, they told me to wait at Rebe's place.
I don't normally worry about things but it's the fact that she's a foreigner who have no clue about my country let alone the rules on the road. I was worried if she gets find and the police charge her with a ridiculous amount of money when she has none to give.
Still with a puzzle in my head I decided to go home after going another round to find her.
At her place I was waiting for almost an hour but it feels like eternity to me, I tried to read a book and even pray but it doesn't help at all.
My sister text me to let me know that she and her friends are going to have a supper close to where Rebe lives.
While I wast just sitting and telling them about the chronology of the missing Rebe, I feel the urge to look behind me which is the big window overlooking the road. I then saw a glimpse of a red dress which Rebe's wore that day.
I stood to my feet, run and grab my scooter without even realizing I didn't bring the key but luckily my friend grab the key and throw it to my sister who's known as a better driver than me. This is where you learn the importante* of team work.
She was driving fast trying to chase Rebe whom apparently riding it fast and furious.
Thank Jesus because we finally found her stopping at the 24 hours convenient store asking direction from a foreigner guy.
I was like shouting in such a relieve when I saw her, thanking God that she's all safe and sound !
But Rebe constantly surprising me by saying she was enjoying her "lost experience", how she would love to take the opportunity to explore the island and that I didn't know her long enough to know that she will definitely ask people for direction.
But knowing that I'll be worried she decided to cancel her adventure and headed back home instead.
Oh wow what a journey we had.
Is it possible because of that signature hot choco we had or did they put something in our snack ? Not.
It's another memorable thing to cherish in time to come !
Thank you Rebe, you sure brought joy to my life and I am glad to know that you are definitely enjoying your time in the island.
Please visit us more often or better yet let's pray for God to cause you to live here :D

Life Is Meant To Be Enjoyed !
I only consider Saturday as my weekend, cause Sunday I have quite a few activities and so does my sister.
We have more time to be spent on Saturday especially during the day so we try to make the most out of it by doing things we love.
Like simply hanging out with the whole family, have a small trip to the town, hunting "treasure", sleep the whole day or in this case lounging at the beach.

Oh I just realized what a bad blogger I am. People normally have at least 10 post each month, last month I couldn't even pass five oh my...
I'll try to give you more post this month.
So anyway, this week we went to this beautiful white sandy beach with a crystal clear warm water and the best part is it's only 15 minutes from me home :D
It's exactly the right place to just chillax cause you don't see a lot of people at this beach. It's almost like your private beach in a way.
Like I said we were just lounging by the beach, soaking in the sea, and just talking about whatever that is in our mind and of course taking pictures for you beeps.

Sometimes we are too busy with our daily activities and often time it is easier to be caught in our tired mind, it makes us forget how life is meant to be enjoyed.
It would be good if you can take time for a mind detox.
Maybe you live in the city and it's almost impossible for you to find a nice beach like what I have here, but you can alter it with a lunch with closest friend or hanging out at the backyard with your family or share your blessing with the less fortunate or buy your beloved ones flower.
It's little things that matters...
See, there are actually a lot of things you can do to enjoy life.
The simplest thing is start with things you like.
And to me sharing always add sweetness to life.

Are You Converge ?
Another wonder of God's work has took my life by storm.
Things you don't see everyday, people you don't meet everyday, and lessons you don't get all the time.
These kind of things made me realize how amazing God is and how life meant to be enjoyed not to mention all the surprise that surpasses my thinking !
Before you think I've gone crazy here, I'm going to spare you the deets.
So my sister told me to attend this business workshop with the international speaker from the states which seemed quite okay at the time. Then I started to save some money so I can attend it but once I got the money and ask more details about it I have this second thought of how it isn't necessarily important to spend my money on this workshop. But then my sis and my group leader encourage me to do it.
Start from day one to day three I am constantly surprise of how good the workshop is, how wonderful the people are, and the excellent service they give is just superb !
Brett Johnson the speaker is so kind, warm, gentle, funny and also a remarkable speaker. He came with his wife Lyn who's just as kind as he is, soft spoken but also sharp, not to mention generous too.
One thing I notice immediately is how humble they are. And wherever they go they always make room for others.
Jari the mentor at my table is just marvelous. I couldn't forget her glowing eyes and gleaming smile the first time I met her, I take that by heart.
And the more I get to know her the more amaze I am. She has this simple yet a very meaningful dream. Since she like to build and decorating houses, she and her husband Jasper really want to have several nice houses spread across the nations so every time their guests come they don't have to think about accommodation. The same thing apply to missionary who doesn't have excess money to enjoy a nice holiday. So they can relax for a bit.
After attending only one day of the workshop I finally know what I should do in life, it's like the icing on the top of the cake. How can I expect more ?
But knowing me and knowing my God I should expect more and more again hahah...
It turns out that some part of my life has already converge and its my career and creativity. Another thing that has been converged in my life is my calling. Sweet !
Since some of you might not familiar with the word convergence allow me to explain the meaning of it.
If you look in the dictionary convergence is: "to direct toward a common center".
There are four aspects that we need to integrate before we achieve convergence and those are your Career, Community, Creativity, and Calling.

Don't think the story end at the workshop cause before the workshop end one of the trainer Garrett actually two, the other one is Janet asked me whether I can join them for the rest of their trip. I absolutely jump at the opportunity :D
So we went to Ubud for the day trip where I get to know the rest of the team. Needless to say they're as fabulous as their leaders !
We were bond together in the very short trip they had.
It never occurred in my mind that I can be so close with the boys by exchanging mega* silly jokes. We even speak in the same language aha !

All my life I've met a lot of good looking guys with good taste too but I never met one single guy with a modest attitude till I met the boys. It's like a breath of fresh air in the midst of this not so sane world.
The next day we had lunch and walk in the traditional market continue with a little adventure in the small rocky river in the hotel.
The last day before some of the team heading home we decided to go for a white water rafting and it turns out mega fun !
Nothing is coincidence in God and I'm glad He has brought this wonderful team along with joy and love.
I know I've said this, but I'm gonna say this again you guys has become a wonderful blessing to my life.
